Cowan’s Dental Laboratory was founded in July 2000 by Neill and Bethany Cowan in Durham, North Carolina. Neill has been in the dental lab world fabricating cast metal partial dentures since 1988. In June of 2000, his employers retired and sold him the cast metal department of their lab. Since then the business has grown substantially and in 2020 he was able to convert fully to digital arena.

In 2022 Neill began teaching digital partial design using 3Shape. He now offers training on not only design but also investing, casting and welding with 3D printed partials. These services can be taught in our lab in Durham for up to two people at a time or in your lab.
